I have trained with the RNIB to have enhanced understanding of the issues for individuals with partial and total sight loss. The journey is unique for everyone and at Rushcliffe-Counselling I believe in the importance of creating a supportive and non-judgemental space, allowing you to explore the changes and feelings in a calm and empathetic space.

For many the feelings of loss or lack of control can be overwhelming. Suddenly needing to rely on others more and anxieties over work, relationships and confidence can be increasingly difficult.

I offer online and face to face work. All documentation can be completed verbally. For face-to-face work, the room is accessible with only one small step over the door threshold. There is good lighting and blinds in the room to support individual needs. There are WC facilities in the next room. I am able to offer recorded verbal instructions to find my room or am happy to meet and greet outside the property for each session. Guide dogs are welcome into the sessions.
