There are many different approaches to counselling and I recognise many of the terms and descriptions can prove confusing, At the heart of my practise is a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space. I work from a person centred basis which means you are the most important person in the process and your views, feelings and experiences are all valid.

By using my Pluralistic training I can utilise different therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), collaborative goal setting, psychodynamic strategies, hypnotic techniques and explorative questioning to tailor an approach that best fits your needs and to explore your inner resources.

Counselling gives you the opportunity to talk through what is worrying you and strive for change. I, as the counsellor, am there to listen and provide a space for you to discover what matters in your life.
